"What do you mean I'm funny?"--Tommy DeVito, a quick tempered, heartless, murdering, italian gangster, also a character played by the actor Joe Pesci in the movie "Goodfellas."
How is it that one individual can play two very different rolls and make them both so convincing and believeable... Although from New Jersey, he's all New Yorker.
That said, New York is a melting pot, and if one spends any length of time here, you would have experienced all types of people, religions, attitudes with "very different" contrasts of the same place. Sort of like...Joe Pesci
A minuite is only 60 seconds, however in NY, those seconds may have a lot of huffing, puffing, running, head spinning, "hurry ups", "C'mons", explicitives, horn honking, fast eating, singing, dancing, money counting, fast walking, gross activity and anything else humanly imaginable, legal or otherwise.
Be happy to be a New Yorker...or a New Jersey or Conneticut person.
